“The life jackets are working great, saved my rear end when I had to jump in and save a diver having a problem in 36 degree water. I had to help him drop his weight belt while he was having a panic attack on the surface 20 yards away from the boat. I threw him a life preserver with a line but he was so out of it he wouldn't grab it. When I saw him sink below the surface of the water I had to jump in but as you know a person doesn't last long in 36 degree water. Luckly my jacket inflated giving me the additional flotation I needed to swim to our diver. A person shouldn't be diving into water but when there's no other option, you have to. There's no way I would have been able to jump into 36 degree water with out a life jacket and if I would have had to run down below to find and don a conventional life jacket our diver might not have made it."
